The M-TWG convened a workshop on offshore wind cable siting in New York State waters with support from NYSERDA, New York Department of State, the Maritime Association of the Port of New York and New Jersey, and the New York Offshore Wind Alliance. Approximately 46 participants shared insights to deepen our collective understanding of needs and issues related to offshore wind cable installation in NYS navigable waters.The Workshop Summary Report was submitted to the NYS Public Service Commission to urge appropriate action on offshore wind cable coordination. M-TWG will continue to evaluate feedback from the Workshop and explore opportunities for building consensus with maritime and offshore wind industries.
